7 years and counting

Yesterday marked 7 years since that memorable Thanksgiving Day, November 22, 2001 when Mike and I had about 70 of our closest friends and relatives here in the garage for bar-b-que and a wedding. Thankfully, the weather was warmer on then than now.

Much has changed in the past 7 years but I am still so happy with the man I married.

We spent a romantic evening last night. Mike snored on the bed, I worked on the Grandmother Remember's books and watched "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" which I had not seen before. Jess and Jeremiah came in to watch the end of the movie with us and then started watching another movie long enough for us to get interested in it, and then they left. Sometime before the end of the 2nd movie we were both snoring. (This is why I do not go to the movie theater anymore, it costs too much to put up with the people in back of me poking me and telling me to stop snoring. But, put me in the dark theater, make me sit still for a few hours, and what do you expect will happen?) Ah, passion, who says it dims with time. I had even left my long johns off and was only wearing my fleece pjs with the cupcakes on them, I know how to dress sexy for my man.

We can only wait and see what passion we are saving for the next 7 years.

  1. Congrats on your last 7 years and may there be many more happy years to come. You have found true passion dearest Aunt. Nothing says love like appreciating snores and fleece pjs together. Being past the need for late night sleep deprivation, knowing the need for sleep. You are a wise couple :0).

  2. Congrats Aunt Mary Lynn! I'm glad you joined the blogging world and are allowing a peek into your life, pajamas and all.

I'm only a part-time blogger, my wife spends more time than I do so I'll have to make sure she keeps me in the loop. Give Grams my love! AnneMarie and I are off to San Fran for Thanksgiving week but I'll post when we get back. Hopefully without any TOO interesting stories ...
